Canterbury
Our campus is situated amidst 300 acres of stunning parkland that offers picturesque views of the historic city of Canterbury and its iconic Cathedral. You won’t need to search elsewhere, as we provide excellent on-site facilities, including accommodation, catering, and event management services, all in one convenient location.

Darwin College
Darwin Conference Suite is our all year round flexible conference venue, situated in Darwin College.
An adaptable space for a maximum of 300 people. It can be used as one large room or divided, with soundproofed walls, into three smaller rooms with a capacity of 40 to 100 people. The space has its own reception area, cloakroom, dance floor, and bar.
The flexibility of this space, allows for a wide range of meeting and event needs to be met. Boardroom or theatre style for those important business meetings or talks or banqueting style for dinner dances.
Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena (KITEA)
Built in 2021 the Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena offers a versatile, unrestricted space for a wide range of events, accommodating up to 4,000 people at the University of Kent Canterbury campus.
With over 3,000 sq meters of flexible flat floor space, the arena can be configured in a variety of layouts including conferences for over 2,000 delegates, trade exhibitions, banquets, functions, sporting events, concerts and more.
Sibson
Built in 2017, this state-of-the-art building will give you the chance to impress, with three large lecture theatres, six meeting rooms and a contemporary ground floor event space.
Providing 2,350m squared of high-quality conference and event space there’s room here for nearly every type of event with plenty of wow factor.
Cornwallis East
Cornwallis East is located near to Woolf College, Darwin College and the Registry.
It has two seminar rooms that are available to hire for events, meetings, and conferences during the Spring and Summer vacation months.
Grimond Building
The Grimond Building is a self-contained meeting and conference venue, located at the heart of the campus. It comprises a range of three lecture theatres and eight seminar rooms.
Grimond has a large foyer area that is ideal for registration, catering, exhibition space, and for holding drinks receptions.
Gulbenkian / Colyer-Fergusson
The Gulbenkian Arts Centre can cater for a variety of events with it’s 340 seat theatre, 300 seat cinema and a café bar.
The venue is multi-purpose and can be used for a range of events, including performances, workshops, conferences, screenings, rehearsals and filming.
Kennedy
This striking black and yellow building is home to a range of contemporary facilities to host your next meeting.

Kent Sports Centre
Our three sports halls are great for large-scale events. The adaptability of the sports halls means a variety of events can be held there, from sports events such as boxing or karate to banquet dinners, large exhibitions and conferences.
Keynes College
Keynes College is an all-in-one venue for residential conferences.
Keynes has a wide range of meeting rooms available, including 5 large lecture theatres (capacity 60-330) and over 20 breakout rooms (capacity 10-52). Alongside the meeting rooms are two foyer areas ideal for delegate registration, working lunches, exhibitions and drinks receptions.
Keynes is the perfect venue for residential conferences as we have 600 en-suite single and double bedrooms located next to the conference rooms, a catering outlet and bar.
Pears
Opened in 2020, the Pears Building is based on the Canterbury Campus and is part of the Kent and Medway Medical School.
The state-of-the-art building has one large lecture theatre for 150 people, multiple multi-use seminar rooms and a bright airy foyer area.
Rutherford College
Rutherford College is home to our dining hall, the perfect location for large dinners and evening socials. An adaptable space with a seated capacity of 350 guests. The large floor to ceiling bay window provides a beautiful view of the city and Canterbury cathedral.
The space can accommodate small or large events from awards ceremonies and dinners to parties and music events, it can cater to all.
Templeman Library
The Templeman Library features a 250 seat lecture theatre, 8 seminar rooms and a large bright foyer area. Following a major extension and refurbishment of the Templeman Library in 2017, it created a vibrant contemporary building at the heart of the campus.
Woolf College
Woolf College is the perfect venue for large conferences and events as it houses our largest 480-seater lecture theatre. In addition, there are six seminar rooms, a reception and a large foyer area ideal for delegate registration, working lunches, exhibitions and drinks receptions. Leading outside from the entrance is a small and quiet courtyard with seating and tables, a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy lunch.

Darwin College
Darwin College is home to Darwin Conference Suite, our all-year-round adaptable space to cater for 40 to 200 guests.
Eliot College
Mungo’s offers delicious burgers, drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere. Perfect for conferences, private parties, receptions, or performances. Includes a VIP room for breakout sessions.
Gulbenkian Café
The Gulbenkian Arts Centre Café offers a versatile event space with catering, a bar, and a stage. Host parties, receptions, meetings, or performances. On-site catering uses local produce for delicious meals and snacks. Additional equipment like projectors and microphones available for hire.
Keynes College
Keynes College is home to three spaces which makes it a perfect location for residential conferences – Dolche Vita the main catering outlet, K Bar and K Bar Lounge.
Rutherford College
Rutherford Dining Hall hosts conferences, receptions, dinners, and summer school catering, with fantastic views over Canterbury and it’s Cathedral.
Sibson
Sibson offers flexible event space for large or small gatherings. The café provides grab and go food, coffee, and snacks in a bright, welcoming space. Perfect for conferences, receptions, or meetings. Larger buffets and events can be accommodated in the foyer.
Sports Centre
A large space with a servery and space for tables and chairs to be laid out. The large windows lead out to a stunning balcony which overlooks the 3G and 3GX artificial pitches.
Turing College
Hut 8 offers a bright, spacious venue and a perfect location to host conferences, receptions, dinners, buffets, and summer schools.
Accommodation
Becket Court
Becket Court is located on the central campus and offers 96 single en-suite rooms and 8 double en-suite rooms, many with fantastic views of Canterbury. The bedrooms provide comfortable 5* Visit England Campus-graded accommodation.
Beverley Farmhouse
Our year-round, self-catered accommodation consists of 11 rooms within a charming Grade 2 listed building. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities and access to fully equipped kitchens.
Darwin College
Darwin College is situated just a little way outside the busy central hub of the Canterbury campus and is home to Darwin Conference Suite, Darwin Houses and its very own rose garden.
Keynes College
Based on central campus, Keynes College has 516 bedrooms with some great views of Canterbury. Keynes College has a mix of en-suite single and double bedrooms, all 4* Visit England campus graded.
Park Wood
Located near a stunning woodland setting, Park Wood boasts over 250 self-catered houses with a total of 1400 bedrooms. Additionally, there are 520 en-suite single rooms available in self-contained flats, providing a range of housing options for guests.
Turing College
Based on central campus, Turing Flats have a large number of en-suite bed and breakfast rooms with brilliant views over Canterbury. With double and single en-suite rooms set across 5 individual blocks and combining 519 rooms, Turing Flats are the perfect location for any large conference or group.
Tyler Court
Located on the central campus, Tyler Court has three blocks of accommodation. This accommodation includes en-suite rooms for single or double occupancy – 4* Visit England campus grading.
Woolf College
Woolf College has double en-suite bedrooms available for all guests and is located on the central campus.
